đż Whatâs happening in Solopreneur land?
AI investment surges, empowering Solopreneurs.
What you need to know:
According to Gartner, global spending on generative AI is projected to reach $644 billion in 2025.
These tools are helping more and more business owners scale solo. đ«Ą
Some of the most common uses are in automating tasks, creating content, streamlining workflows, and replacing the need to outsource certain tasks.Thinking outside the box:
Solopreneurs are starting to build AI directly into their offers, not just their operations.
That means your digital product could come with its own tiny robot intern, trained to help your customers take action faster and get better results.
Take a look at how Katelyn (from Why We Buy) incorporated AI into their offer suite instead of just using it to help take tasks off their plate.
Katelynâs offer: Wallet Opening WordsHow theyâre using AI in the product:
Theyâve included an AI Copywriting Bot.Their bot helps their customer apply the techniques they learn so they can go from idea to first draft, quickly.
In their other offer theyâve included 8 AI trained bots to help their students take action and use their proven system.
Weâre going to see huge shits in the digital information space.
Things like training AI bots to help students take action immediately OR use your proven framework in minutes.
Instead of your students learning the lessons and having to do figure out how to apply it to their business, you can create a simple way for them to move forward and get results with AI trained bots.
No more staring at a blank screen thinking, âCool strategy⊠now what?âYour next question:
If you sell a course, template, or coaching program⊠could a trained AI bot help your customer apply your method, implement your framework, or just make a decision faster? This is the kind of future-forward move that can set your product suite apart.
đĄ The 3 highest-ROI tasks you should prioritize each day to reach your revenue goals
Your time is your most valuable asset as a solopreneur.
Not every task on your list deserves your energy.
If you want to break through your current revenue ceiling, you need to focus on the right tasks.
The ones that deliver the highest ROI.
Here are the three to focus on:
â«â« Your Core Revenue-Generating Activity
This is the task that has the biggest impact on your income.
The problem?
Itâs usually the one that feels hardest to do.
Itâs easy to distract yourself with busy work that feels productive but doesnât actually lead to creating revenue.
If you want to scale, you need to get out of your own way and commit to the real work.
Stop doing the âprettyâ things and start doing the things that truly drive results.
Figure out what activity generates the bulk of your income and focus on that activity like your life depends on it (or your business in this case).
Your action item (because the đ° is in the doing):
Find the revenue-generating task: Ask yourself, âIf I did only this task every day (outside of delivering your offer) would I continue to generate the bulk of the revenue in my business?â.
Look at your weekly to-do list: how much time this week have you allocated to that task?
Refine your workload so that you can focus on the task that is leading to profit and growth in your business.
Yes, youâll have other tasks to do but youâre now going to dedicate more time to the most profitable work instead of the busy work.
Redesigning your logo for the 25th time is fun but probably wonât give you the most ROI for your hours put in.
â«â« Creating Systems That Optimize and Scale
You only have so much time, and systems are a key secret to scaling.
If youâre not building or refining your systems, youâll stay stuck at 5/6 figures, bogged down by repetitive tasks.
Whether itâs automating workflows or setting up processes for client onboarding, these systems free you to focus on growth.
James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, says, âYou do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.â
Setting up systems around your core revenue-generating tasks and business-growth tasks will allow you to scale beyond 6 figures without having to build a team.
Your action item:
What tasks are you repeating over and over again?
What tasks are you doing manually that you could automate?
Have you created a clear system/workflow for the following:
client onboarding/ customer purchase experience
marketing and client acquisition
product or service delivery
requesting testimonials or reviews from clients/customers
financial tracking
If youâre overwhelmed by even the idea of systems and workflows, use ChatGPT or AI to help you figure out which systems you need based on your unique business.
â«â« Challenging Your Personal Beliefs
As a solopreneur, your mindset has a direct impact on your business.
If youâre holding onto limiting beliefs (like thinking youâre never gonna hit your goal revenue figures or speak on stage at the big industry event) itâs time to tackle those head-on.
Developing a growth mindset isnât optional; itâs foundational.
âWhether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right.â - Henry Ford
Donât ignore the thoughts holding you back.
Face them, challenge them, and grow from them.
Your action item:
When you think of scaling to multi 6/7 figures, what are the first thoughts that come to mind? Write those down and spot any beliefs that may be holding you back.
Take 5 min before work each day to write down the following:
â If I fully trusted myself and my vision, whatâs the first thing Iâd change in how I show up this week?
â If I could borrow the confidence of my future, wildly successful self for one decision today, what would I do differently?
â Where am I confusing being âbusyâ with being âproductiveâ? What would it look like to scale with simplicity?
If youâre not the journaling type, you can just read the prompt aloud and then answer yourself (talking to yourself is like having your own staff meeting, so itâs not weird. Nope, not weird at all!đ€Ș)
Those are the 3 things that will in the long run create the highest ROI for your business.
There is one more thing that must be in place to scaleâŠ
â«â« Bonus: You need a product offer suite that can scale with you.
If youâre sticking to 1:1 work, youâll need to charge more for less time.
If youâre offering a physical product or digital product, youâll need to make sure itâs set up in a way that can be scaled.
Make sure the math adds up.
For example, if youâre running group coaching cohorts with 10 clients each and only offering three cohorts per year, is that enough to hit 6 or 7 figures?
Letâs do the math for making $100,000 and $1,000,000.
Youâre running 3 group cohorts of this program in a year, each with 10 clients.
That means the price per client must be:
6 figures:
$100,000 = 3 cohorts (10 clients x price per client)
Price per client = $3334
7 figures:
$1,000,000 = 3 cohorts (10 clients x price per client)
Price per client = $33,334
If youâre charging $1000 or $10,000 (respectively) per client for the cohort youâre not going to reach your goal.
Itâs not scalable in the way you want it to be.
You will need to design the cohort so that you can charge more, offer more cohorts in the year, adjust your audience, or adjust the product suite youâve created to include offers that can scale to 6 or 7 figures.
Refining your product suite is one of the highest ROI tasks you can tackle, it ensures your business model can actually grow with your goals.
